Oceanco specialises in building large custom yachts up to 140 meters in length. Offering a highly personalised service to clients, Oceanco applies innovative design and technology to create one-of-a-kind yachts that respect the vision of both the owner and the designer. Since Oceanco is not weighted in the past, it is able to be a forward thinker in its field. Oceanco honours traditions but is not set in its ways. In addition to utilising its own in-house design team, Oceanco works closely with the world’s leading designers. Oceanco’s most recent projects have been from the drawing boards of Winch Design, Sorgiovanni Design, Tripp Design, Nuvolari Lenard, DeBasto Design, Espen Øino, Terence Disdale, Lobanov Design, and Reymond Langton to name a few.
Oceanco is ideally positioned with yacht-building facilities in the Netherlands, which is equipped with a private harbour and a climate-controlled state-of-the-art dry dock for the building and refitting of yachts up to 140 metres. Its design, sales and marketing office is located in the superyacht capital of Monaco.
All Oceanco yachts feature complex state-of-art systems that stretch the boundaries of yacht technology. Oceanco sets store by challenges, actively seeking out innovative and unusual projects where interior craftsmanship is fused with complex exterior engineering. Oceanco’s craftsmen are among the finest in the world. As with all the workers at Oceanco, each and every one of them feels a personal responsibility for the quality of the finished yacht.
Oceanco has had the reputation of building exceptional custom yachts for over 30 years. Since 2010, when Dr Mohammed al Barwani acquired Oceanco, there has been a concentrated business plan to grow the company, invest in new facilities, increase the workforce and to evolve to meet new 21st-century design challenges and market demands.
