WELCOME TO THE GOLDEN YACHTS FAMILY
Greek masters in the high-value yacht building, Golden Yachts delivers luxury creations from its yard in Greece. The shipyard is renowned for its highly successful GY series, such as PROJECT X, O’PARI and O’PTASIA. Golden Yachts is able to draw on its experience and knowledge of different sectors within the maritime industry. The Dragnis family, owners of the shipyard and active in the Greek shipping industry, combine their commercial shipping knowledge (their insight into the mechanical and system engineering) to their successful charter business (charter clients and crew feedback) resulting to an overall improvement of the following projects. Furthermore, the Dragnis family fuse global yacht building expertise and suppliers to the quick moving Greek workers delivering mega yachts in 26-28 months in competitive prices. We have created balanced relationships rooted in mutual respect as well as a strong philosophy in tandem with our company’s employees and executives who we consider to be part of our wider family.

TRUE COLLECTORS ITEMS
Golden Yachts is proud to have successfully delivered up to present the 56-metre O’Mathilde (refit), the 46-metre My Eden (refit), the 51-metre Jaz by Amels (refit) and the 56-metre O’Natalina by Picchiotti (refit), the shipyard’s very first refit projects. The company invested in its own project and engineering teams, gearing up for refit projects but also working towards bringing new yacht construction in-house. This came to fruition in 2007 with the launch of the first GY 50 series yacht, O’Ptasia (now Vertigo), O’Neiro and O’Rama. New shipyard facilities followed in 2010, and in 2011 the award-winning semi-displacement 39.5-metre O’Pati emerged. The 2010s marked a change of pace for Golden Yachts which upped its rhythm with the construction of the 71.85-metre O’Pari3, launched in 2015, the 85-metre O’Ptasia (2018) and the 95-metre O’Pari (2020), all of which confirm the company’s push to significantly larger builds. After the delivery of the 88m PROJECT X, which has been GY’ latest endeavor, new projects include the 77m under-construction yacht O’REA, expected to be delivered in spring 2023.

AWARDS
In 2019 O’Ptasia won the prestigious International Superyacht Society (ISS) Award in the Power 65-metre + category at the 29th Design and Leadership Award Gala. The recently launched O’Pari is one of the most successful yachts in the charter market and shortlisted for the most impressive superyacht beach clubs in the business for summer 2022. She was featured on the front cover of BOAT International in February 2021 and been selected as one of the top 200 largest yachts in the world in the Superyachts Book. Additionally, our 88-metre Project X, our most challenging project to date, combining the very latest design, technology and style with the highest standards in quality is nominated for the 2023 World Superyacht Awards and received the Lifestyle feature Award at Design and Innovation Awards 2023.
