Shipbuilder CRN was founded in 1963 in Ancona on Italy’s Adriatic coast, a strategic maritime destination on the Mediterranean. CRN is one of the most important international players in the bespoke steel and aluminium and all-aluminium segment.
CRN is recognised as a pure custom Italian shipyard with a strong heritage and a sharp awareness of cutting-edge naval architecture and refined craftmanship, of meticulous precision and quality, and of incredible flexibility, deep commitment and reliability.
In 2019, CRN’s Ancona shipyard became the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, one of the most significant and advanced production centres in the European yachting industry, which designs, engineers and builds pure custom CRN vessels up to 95 metres in length and 3,000 GT, the full-aluminium semi-custom lines, and full-custom superyachts for Riva Superyacht Division, Custom Line and Pershing, along with the Custom Line made-to-measure range from 30 to 44 metres in composite materials.
